I want to know if any mom went through what I'm going through? I was admitted at the hospital…

how did they find it? just curious, I only dealt with high BP my last pregnancy

your body is circulating more blood than normal. you heart may be "safely" speeding up to endure the difference. I Believe if it slowed down it may back up or cause the high bp from forcing the flow of blood instead of picking up. I complained about my heart being rapid to the doctor yesterday. this is what they explained to me. they told me if I get light headed, or shortness of breath to come back immediately. they did check my pressure, rates and etc. they said I was fine.

@yanelmarie, I get light headed and lots of headache but my blood pressure are perfect. Ugh I don't like my heart to be fast when I walk I feel out of air

I told them that too... they really brushed me off. it was surprising. to get ahold of myself I'll put a cold rag on my somewhere and put a fan close or sit on my porch. the change of air and temperature seem to help. it almost feels like an anxiety attack right?

Yeah but you see mine feel like when you get up quickly and you feel like your heart is super fast and bit ligh headed. Just like that @tan elmarie

mine skips beats and beats fast...my doctor said it's from pregnant also

@anna432, same here ugh. Hopefully is just pregnancy because I'm young and I want to see my kids grow old lol

@yanelmarie, my doctors did that with my last pregnancy and turned out to be preclampsia... they think that just because some women are first timers that they do not know their body. I told them I had pressure pain in my kidneys matching what seemed to be my heart beat. after ruling everything out with the kidneys they finally paid attention to my bp!

@noahsmommy, mine has to be bcs of pregnancy mine is always 80 or like 87 I got pregnant it's like 120

wow, that's scary @wannaboyplz ... this is my third and sooooo very different from the other two. they told me this in the er because it just started happening I mentioned it. I'm definitely going to talk to my ob. @noahsmommy , mine too like fast movements or the steps but it's an overwhelming feeling....

I've had tachycardia since I was 15. They don't know why I have it either. but now that I'm pregnant it happens alot more often, especially with Contractions

This is my third too. So I should know my heart lol especially with my first pregnancy I lost so much blood my heart was super super fast I needed to get transfusion. So I know what I'm saying lol

Omg I don't want to live with mine like that I pray it leaves after pregnancy. What do you do for it ? So you drink pills? Are you anemic? @afunk1

mine happens out of the blue. like I could be cleaning and bend down to pick something up and it just randomly happens. and no I don't have meds for mine but I am anemic now that I'm pregnant. I'm currently on iron pills

Pregnancy can have a tendency to increase heart rate in women in general. But even when I'm not pregnant i tend to have it randomly

I mean everyone has a time when their heart beat fast but what I'm referring to is having it fast at all time that's how my heart is right now. Which is why I'm highly concern

Pregnancy and dehydration can both increase heart rate (I do cardiac ultrasound and my father's a cardiologist). If your normal heart rate is at the higher end of normal, tachycardia isn't unheard of. I get it sporadically, and can't take my meds until I'm done breastfeeding

I have a fast heartbeat because of pregnancy. It takes a while for them every time to find baby's heartbeat because mine is always 90+ but I'm fine. It's the heart working harder for both bodies right now
