Little man has really bad wind, actually getting so upset because there's nothing I can do. Given him some cooked boiled water, hopefully that helps and he can have a decent drink of milk. So emotional 😭😭😭
I know it really is overwhelming!!💓 it's also mad how they were actually inside ur tummy, I used to look at Lewis and just wonder how the hell he fit in there😂😂 it's just so crazy xxx
@emmaclark, I've never felt a love this strong! It's actually so powerful!!!! Xxx
I know😞 tomorrows a new day tho, you'll feel a lot better once you've seen ur midwife she'll have loads of things you can try too! it gets so much easier to control once you find something that works for your little one xxx
@emmaclark, it's just so tough, I feel useless because I'm so emotional and crying for no reason so when he is upset, I start to worry and think it's more than what it is and get even more emotional, the fact I'm sore from the stitches doesn't help either, just worrying about everything 😞xxx
don't worry it really does get so much easier!! soon you'll wonder what all the fuss was about haha! just hang in there, it's so tough having a windy baby but you just need to persevere😞 everyone's here for advice. xxx
@emmaclark, @cayleighnatasha @quelle-y-chiffre thank you ladies. He woke up after his sleep quite distressed and really hot and red so gave him a little wipe down and clean and had a little cuddle and he seemed a lot better. He then drank a full ounce of milk and is now sound asleep! Midwife comes tomorrow so will be speaking to her about it as I can't help but worry and been so worried and upset most of the night😞 hope this gets easier xxx
dentinox was the only thing that sorted Harrison highly recommend it and yes i found the tommee tippee ones horrible changed to avent they're brilliant anti colic aswell hun all of avent are i believe xx
just noticed you've said ur going to try changing bottles, try cheap unbranded ones from like asda/tesco/etc I used these too and they helped hun!! usually cost no more than like £2 as well, most hospitals recommend them xx
That's what I did too. I stuck with tommee tippee but bought the anti colic ones, still use them now. It's so horrible and upsetting but it does get easier for them xxx
@quelle-y-chiffre, I'll be fine. Going to change his bottles as think he's getting too much air from the tommee tippee so going to get those dr. Browns! Also got infacol here if he doesn't wake up any better! Xxx
I had to use infacol from birth too. It definitely helps. I remember being so upset about it too. Hope you're ok xxxx
@tam77, @emmaclark okay thank you ladies! Think a run to Asdas is in order! Can't watch him like this all night 😞xx
I've given my son infacol from birth, he had really bad wind especially in his first week, we barely slept it's so horrible seeing them in pain it used to make me cry too😩😩 infacol seriously works a treat xx
Its awful seeing them in pain i know. Yes suitable from birth. It worked straight away for my lil boy was such a relief xxx def worth a try @beccastirlingx xxx
@tam77, I'm going to have to try it, it's awful seeing him like this, I've cried 4 times already😂😂😂 is infacol alright from birth tho? Xxx
@winterbaby95, tried all of that hun😞 he's now sleeping while all cuddled in but still grey around his mouth, everytime he whimpers or cries I get so upset😞x
i can recommend infacol lovely i gave it to my son before every feed due to trapped wind and it worked wonders xxx @beccastirlingx
Don't give him water hun. Rub his tummy in an clockwise motion with your hand :) Also do a variation of rubbing and patting his back :) when patting..pat closer to the shoulder blade rather than the middle of his back..Also you can lay him across your lap and pat and rub his back that way xx
I don't mean gaviscon I mean dentinox lol sorry. my daughter suffers from trapped wind. excessive wind...anything windy lol I've talked about it so much, my phone predicts it 😂
He can have infacol or gaviscon. You can get it from a 24hr supermarket or tesco express etc
