I'm a first time mom and trying to exclusively breastfeed well my right nipple has a really bad Crack.. I've seen a lactation consultant and done what they've said to try and heal it (rub breast milk on it and walk around shirtless also use lanolin) any other advice? I literally dread having her feed on that side it hurts so much :(

I used to just try and nurse more on the other side. I know it sucks and hurts like hell but it'll heal in a few days

That happened to me and would only nurse on the other side and pump the milk out of the one with the pain or cracked nipple.

stop using the lanolin. it'll dry out your nipples and make it worse. try coconut oil, or a nipple butter instead.

both my nipples were split sooo bad, but I made a habit out of nursing, then covering them in milk, letting them air dry, then putting nipple butter on them. I did it religiously EVERY feeding. they were much better in a few hours, by the end of the night it wasn't as painful to nurse.

I used the cream but also used hot cloths before feeding and then ice packs or the gel nipple pads after feeding. The combo really helped and by the end of week 2 there was no pain at all.
