When should I start packing my diaper bag for little miss sophia?
I used pinterest to make my hospital bags. The hospital provides diapers, soap for baby and some other stuff. A nail file for baby was my mom's idea and I'm so glad I brought a couole different ones. I packed 2 receiving blankets, wet wipes(the hospital had dry ones), 2 beanies, 4 outfits( 4 onsie because I like Jaxon to wear a onsie under his pj's, socks, mittens, 2 pj's especially if it could be cold when you leave, a small blanket for the carseat, baby lotion and that's about all I packed. It seemed to be more than enough. I packed extra outfits just in case.
The hardest thing was packing for me... Try to think of everything you could possibly need for post pardom. Hospital will give you Ibuprofen and pain meds if you need them(I was SO thankful for the tramadol), a comfortable short robe was a life saver, they gave me a couple hospital gowns that had slits for breastfeeding, comfortable panties that you're not afraid of ruining, and when you pack clothes for yourself think of yourself at 6-7 months pregnant. It's what you will wear. :) Comfy socks for yourself and all your personal items (ie hair brush, tooth brush, hair ties, soap, shampoo, they give you towels and wash cloths, easy to slip on shoes, grippy comfy slippers, I brought disposable breast pads but didn't need them, they will give you pads and items for the bleeding but I would bring whatever you prefer just in case. I didn't ask till the middle of the next day for something to help w the pain topically and the hemroids! ASK ASAP! They gave me a topical spray for pain that helped, an anesthetic ointment and Tucks for hemroids. All stuff you will need at home too plus Preparation H.
