so nothing has changed about baby girl or my cervix so I'm getting induced anybody have a induction story ?

I probably will I just didn't wanna be waiting long after the epi @jnh199243 and I didn't want to be induced either but its happening and I'm actually really excited I won't be caught off guard lol @royallioness

I was induced with my daughter and omg I begged for dat epidural after my doctor broke my water...after dat it was smooth sailing..I hope to go in labor on my own dis go round...really don't wanna be induced

most women who have had a natural birth and then an Induced birth will tell u that contractions r worse when u r induced

I'm sure it will. but I do advise the epi. I had one fail due to a newbie puttin it in and it was to late to get another and I thought I was dieing with those. contractions! please keep me update on ur big day!

sounds okay so far hopefully it goes smooth for me too @jnh199243

then it's a wait game until baby get here. first baby could take a while probably won't come until late afternoon or night.

then every hour they come check u depending on ur contractions. usually around 3cm they will break ur water if u haven't broke naturally and u can get it epidural then. after they break water they put ur cath in. so no more bathroom or walking

it's pretty simple process. you go in early in the morning. they do you paperwork and get u in a room. then they ask some questions and start your IV. after that they begin whichever method of induction they will use. usually starts with a pill and if you don't progress or change they start they drip thru ur IV.

I've been Induced with all of my pregnancies. I prefer it that way.
