Birth control options? Give me your advice or favorite. NO DEPO! Don't even mention it I will NOT get that shit, thanks lol.
@sperdue22, ooh okay, I think one of my friends has that so I'll ask her too. thank you
It stops your period but the first year is hard for some people bc some people have there period 3 months straight then go away I've heard. I heard that when it got time to remove it that it wasn't there. And honestly that is bc she wouldn't leave it alone and she was moving it. so don't worry about that. I've heard women say that they was on it over 6 years and when they got off it was harder for them to get pregnant. but that's it really
Oh okay well no. It's a flexible plastic rod that goes into arm it's real small and you really don't feel it when its in there unless you messed with it
Yeah just when I brush or wash it, more comes out than normal.
I'm getting the nexplanon. It last for 3 years and it really works. And you get it changed every 3 years.
I've had a little more hair loss than normal, but that's about it!
@henrysmommy, my bff has that and raves about it but I said I didn't want an IUD. Have you had any issues with it as far as while having sex or issues period?
@mgould0304, everyone I've ever known to get it has too many cons. extreme weight gain, migraines, constant cramps and adult acne. I refuse.
oh okayy thanks definitely going to get something else @babyrsmommy
@mgould0304, I used the Depo when I first started birth control and it's just not good for you. It can cause issues with your body and it gave me really bad headaches.
@henrysmommy, it's like a square shape type bandaid you stick on wherever you're allowed to and you change it every Sunday for 3 weeks then on the 4th week you don't wear it and you have your period then you just repeat. It don't fall off or anything and you can shower with it, swim with it, anything really.
could i just ask why not the depo? (thats what im planning on getting..)
I have Mirena, it's alright. What is the patch @babyrsmommy? I've never heard of that!
I've used the patch since I was 15 and I quit using it when I turned 19 because that's when I decided to get pregnant and it worked great. I plan on using it again after birth too.
it's the implant in your arm good for 3yrs
