I looked at YouTube and I had a friend who gave me advice. but I'm frugal when it comes to spending my money and I found diy and cheap ways to cloth diaper. I've ordered cloth diapers online for only 1.00 and they are great material. I also made my own prefolds as well.

@sophiaarmstrong, after researching I heard that using Prefolds or flats (cheaper) a lot of moms were scared to at first, but once they did they regretted not doing it sooner because they would have saved so much money, but it truly depends on the person. So I bought like 24 newborn Prefolds about 10 covers, and then maybe 5-6 actual 2 in one cloth diapers for overnights because I too would rather not spend a lot of money and am staying at home too so laundry really isn't an issue for me. The great thing about Prefolds is even when they get too small to put on your baby you can use them as an insert for your other cloth diapers. Good luck! 😊

@deefrasee, thank you, yes I'm going to continue to research, I think when it comes down to it I would like to not spend more then I would with diapers but I don't want to use those on my child and I'm going to be a stay-at-home mom I'm going to definitely research a little bit more maybe I could try some of the brands you mentioned thank you again! ❤

I watched tons of youtube videos. And decided one 3 brands to try when baby comes. So overwhelming!

My son isn't born yet so I can't tell you anything besides the research/buying part only because I spent months staring any my computer trying to figure it out getting multiple headache 🙈 lol

Research different brands and types that you want to use/how much you want to spend because it gets pricey quick! I personally ordered offline because I had no clue where to get them anywhere else. (I found out Babies R Us has some, but they only have one brand and you don't want to get stuck with just one brand because it might not work with your baby) I used Kelly's Closet, they're great prices, and Green Mountain a little more pricey but they have great quality in Flats and Prefolds. It depends really on how touchy or not you are with money and how often you want to wash your cloth diapers it can truly be anyway from cheap to really expensive.
