I didn't feel it when i was laboring within my daughter. Are you planning on getting a epidural? Good luck mama. you'll do awesome

I had a catheter without an epidural when I had to get magnesium and it wasn't bad. I worked myself up thinking it was going to be terrible and it feels like your pee hole burns for a few minutes. getting use to it was more uncountable then it going in. you feel like you have to pee/have a UTI. but it goes away. when you have an epidural for labor they give you a catheter once you are already numb and they take it out once baby comes. I only know this because I asked a lot about it. I almost didn't want an epi cuz I was terrified of catheter lol. but when they took my catheter out it was relieving. 😃

yea you're gonna feel it but its not painful just uncomfortable...especially when having contractions
