I don't know how to vent about this without sounding ungrateful, so apologies if I bother anybody....but I can't help but feel just a tad bit irritated. I'm having my 1st shower this weekend(my second shower on May 14). My mom and I both spent lots of time making the gift registry. Here we are 2 days before the shower and with the exception of 1 person (my best girl friend) , nothing has been purchased from them. I feel like it was a huge waste of time to even make the registries since hardly anybody seemed arsed to use it. 😔 It makes me wonder if people will just end up flaking at the last minute as well. Guess I'll find out soon enough.
I'm a single mom on a low income so I can't afford it all on my own. My parents will help me get the important stuff we need but I feel bad they will have to foot the bill for it if no one coming to my shower wants to help us.

They day before my baby shower it looked like only one or two things had been purchased but I ended up getting just about everything I registered for. It could have just not come off yet or some ppl didn't give the cashier the paper to scan.

Yeah people slack on gifts. They usually wait until the last minute and they forget to give the registry receipt to the cashier to scan, or they just ignore your registry all together and just but what they want to get you. I'm sure you will have gifts. Getting multiples of the same item is common also since people forget to update your registry.

I agree with the ladies above I believe they have your gifts just forgot to purchase it from off the registry my dad almost bought my travel system straight from the site and not from my wish list I hope you receive many gifts

I totally agree with them I just went to a baby shower and they were registered at target it was super difficult for me to make it say I got it off the registry. And targets always packed I felt so many eyes staring at me 😳 I'm sure you'll be covered don't worry ❤️
