try usint the qtip method to relieve his bowels. get a qtip put a some lubricant on it and insert in baby's bottom move around a little bit and usually in an hr or so baby should have a bm

@cocored55, actually a breastfeed baby can go a month with out having a bm and be fine only reason it would be different is because he is fussy i have researched this and spoke to the doctor and multiple lactation nurses and such because after 9 days i was concerned about my son

7 days is too long to go even for a breast fed baby cask the dr and Mahe an appt tomorrow

@mom13 he's in pain from not having a BM. He squeezes like he's trying to get it to come out but can't get nothing out. He's also very fussy and clingy. I've not used any new lotions or soaps. I tried calling the nurses line but they didn't answer so we are calling back in the morning

BM for several days for breastfeed baby is okay i am breastfeeding as well my son went 10 days before having a BM as for the rash are you using any new soaps or anything different they have sensitive skin if not pls consult the doctors
