So us mothers to be can't celebrate Mothers Day because we're still carrying our loves and haven't earned the mother badge yet. How fucking idiotic-- we go through pain, aches, growing bellies, throwing up, discomforts, through so much, we all earn our badge before we even earth bound our children. As far as I know we're all mothers either way.

I definitely celebrated my first while i was still pregnant. i dont see anything wrong with it. youre still a mommy, youre creating a beautiful life! and so thats enough to count!! baby is still there:)

I consider you a mother if you're pregnant, have been pregnant and lost a child, adopting, have a surrogate to carry your child, etc. Your baby doesn't have to physically be here for you to be a mother.

You make decisions based off the best welfare of your baby from the moment you find out you're pregnant. That's what a mother does. She cares for her baby, born or unborn, from day 1.

You are carrying a child. You are that child's mother. Your first instinct is to protect that child with your own body whether that child is inside you or not. I even celebrate mothers day with mothers who miscarried or unfortunately gave birth to still borns. Their children didnt stop being their children cause they passed away and they didnt stop being mothers because they still love that child everyday. Those people telling you that you can't celebrate have no right.
