Girl you are not going to go on no hike. You are going to be EXHAUSTED. The first 3 weeks take time to adjust to the baby and your new schedule. My son was in the NICU the first 10 days and after I got discharged I visited him every day and the walk and standing made me swollen down there... Also I would bleed more the more I would stand or walk.

even if I wait a month after 🙀🙀 I have so much help tho. i also live with my in laws so I know my mother in law will be all over my baby bc she will wanna help and help when I need it. also my bf will be home too.

@mamaash, honestly you'll see how it is when you have baby with you. Even if you have help if you breastfeed you'll still be exhausted from not sleeping at night. I live with my fiancés family too, and they do help on the weekends with baby, but I was always reserved when he was first born. I wanted him with me and only me all the time. See how long you bleed and if you have a heavy flow. Also if you tear or not! I barely started going back to the gym and I'm almost 3 months pp. but I had a epidural and the catheter I had inserted messed up my urethra

I feel like 1-2 weeks is too soon tho. I would clot and bleed more when I would walk or stand a bit. Also dizzy spells.

okay yeah so I'll play it by ear. I am planning on trying to breastfeed and if all goes well then I'll be doing that. I'm more exhausted at the end of this pregnancy just bc I'm really anxiously waiting for him to be here wondering is it gonna happen now or he's gonna wait until Saturday. I feel like once he's out and here I'll be my old self again.
