suggestion buy a baby blanket or even a receiving blanket you sleep with if for a few days do not wash it when you are trying to get baby to sleep for a while to get things done wrap him up in this blanket wait a little while then try to lay him in his bassinet

@aliciafuentes045, That's how it was for me in the beginning. Except I took on the baby alone because he has a very labor demanding job & HAS to get rest. It can take a toll on you no doubt, but eventually it gets better.

my daughter refused to sleep anywhere but my arms/chest for the first 6weeks. very frustrating when i wanted to get something done. wearing her while she slept let her sleep and not freak out and me actually get some housework done

Me and my husband does get sleep, but not that much :/ I hope it does get better soon. @theinkedmommy

I force her to stay awake all day with only 30 minute sleep sessions at a time. I only give her enough food to satisfy her belly, cuz if I make her full she falls asleep. She's not allowed to sleep after 7 pm, or eat after 8 pm. Then at 8:50, she gets a bath. By 9 I'm making her big night time bottle. It takes her 30 mins - 1 hour to finish. I lay her in bed at 10. Then she sleeps till 6-7 am. I also have a swaddleme I keep her swaddled in. It's done wonders. It's Velcro so she can't get out of it.

@aliciafuentes045, Lainey used to be like that until I sleep trained her to sleep in her rock & play.

Oh aww ur lucky 🙁 I can't hardly get nothing done in the house, cause my son wants to be held while he sleeps... I put him down to sleep, but he only sleeps for a minute and wakes up crying. 😕😢
