I get shooting pains in my breasts even when I'm not engorged. Does anyone know why??

I get them too but I have no idea

I get them too. and then realize I'm leaking. You can leak even when you're not engorged. Just from thinking about your baby or hearing them cry.

I leak all the time too. Sometimes with pain sometimes without. That's just the only connection I could make.

The pain could be associated with the let down reflex, mine have always been harsh lol they feel sharp and pinchy, and not every time you have a let down do you leak....if there is pressure on the nipples like a bra then it can prevent them from leaking when you have a let down, so you'll have the sensation but the pressure keeps the milk from leaking all over LOL

It's the milk ejection reflex, when your baby is nursing after a few moments the milk ducts will actually push the milk out faster, it is triggered by hormones and it helps the baby get the milk faster...this can also be triggered by engorged breasts, thinking of the baby, bending over (lol), and so on...I have woken up in puddles when sleeping in the nude and dreaming of my baby, and I had to pee after a shower and was reflecting on my baby's birth and started squirting all over LOL
