the ultrasound tech was questioning my last one with my daughter so they went back to look at my first one and determined i was off and they said it made sense that my cervix wasn't ready and that's why i wasn't dilating .

@4xmeislove, how did you find out your due date was wrong?

ummm not as fast as you probably want they keep the medicine in overnight then give you pitocin then depending on how fast you much dilated at that point they break your water. with my first i was only a 2 and by morning i was only a 3 but my midwife broke my water and it took 6 1/2 hours from 9 am to 3:14 pm does that all make sense ?

if im dilated to a 1, u think it will go by fast? @4xmeislove

@4xmeislove, yeah, I think my due date was wrong also. I haven't dilated or anything not even contractions or BH. It's ridiculous. He's been so stubborn.

mine wasn't either i was posterior and high the whole time i was barely dilated to a 5 before they gave me the cervadil stuff but we found out my due date was technically on the 21st so i was just barely 40 weeks

@4xmeislove, it's just that my cervix isn't doing anything, and I have heard that makes the process worse/way longer? 😞
