Tried finding a baby album for Lyric, went to Babies R Us and Hobby Lobby, and they all have a 1-2 page "daddy" section in them 😕 ("daddy's pic", "daddy's family", "daddy's note to baby", etc)
I suppose they don't market baby albums for single parents. I guess I'll just have to get creative and make her a handmade scrapbook album instead.
And don't even get me started on all the baby clothes out there that say "daddy's girl", "daddy's princess", "daddy loves me"....Us single moms really are a special population.

Yeah, I dont think the father would even be around if my baby was a girl. Makes me so angry.
@mamabear9456, I know. But my ex was abusive and wanted me to abort her. He wasn't loving at all and is no longer in the picture, so stuff like this makes me sad. I wish I could give her a loving Daddy. Maybe someday
I feel like all the "daddy's girl" stuff is a way to make the men feel more involved. Let's face it most men don't stick around, and they mostly want boys first so glorifying a baby girl as daddy's girl is helpful for some of us
I've noticed that too! I'm having a boy and can find clothes all day that have mom stuff all over them but u can't find that for girls!
