Ok so Idk if I sound childish or anything but this is something that I can't seem to tell my BF because he'll make me feel worse about it. But him and his family make me feel really insecure when it comes down to his ex (his Oldest son's mom). She's mixed with long pretty hair and my BF was sooooooooooooo in love with her. Long story short she cheated, and took his son from him and was keeping him from his son until he took her to court. I started noticing things when I first met his biological family (he's adopted) he introduced me to his aunt over the phone and she was like "Is that Eli's mom? I was really hoping I could meet her" then his biological sisters.....they are friends with me and her both on FB and Instagram.....all throughout her pregnancy and even now when she posts pics of her son they'll like them back to back and comment on how beautiful she is....when it comes down to Josiah they've liked a few pics and that's it. I think it's because my son looks more like me and is darker than his brother (His brother looks identical to my BF) another thing I noticed is when she had her son his biological grandma made it a priority to come see him the first day and a few days after that....and she brought him a gift card to Babies R Us, when it came down to Josiah (my little guy) she saw him 7 days after he was born (my BF had to remind her about it) and she gave him a bag of hand me down clothes that smelled like smoke. Lastly my BF was all over her when she came over for his brother's going away party. She was holding their son and he just kept making his way through the crowd by her, it was at one point to where his son was sitting in between her legs and he was bent down trying to feed him in between her legs (which he got cussed out for) but that showed me a lot....he's still attracted to her. Even my own mom and younger sister say "Oh she's really pretty, oh she dresses really nice....blah blah blah" I can't help but feel the way I feel 😥

I would feel the same way! That would really really hurt me, considering my son's dad has another baby mom that he was crazy in love with. They supposedly hate eachother now but if I ever saw that and his family acted like that I would be so heart broken.

@valerie_jean, I am....I mean I love him and all but it just makes me feel really shitty. I'm not directly mixed like she is and I don't have loooong hair but it makes me feel really insecure about it (even considering the fact I knew my BF first, and he didn't fall for me until at all at first and it was "love at first sight with her") but it sucks that my baby might grow up feeling the same way I do because they already treat him and his brother differently

don't feel any less beautiful cuz your not mixed don't feed into the hype that mixed is automatically beautiful. If your boyfriend clearly isn't over her than you need to find someone who will love you for who you are regardless of how chocolate you are and how long or short your hair is

listen ma! Please don't be that babymama that's stuck in a love triangle with the other baby mama(s)!!! If it's like that now, it's always gonna be like that! And that's terrible that they're doin your son that way!

@kala_elise, Yeah it's just stuff I noticed like how they treat my son. How excited they are about his other son, every pic she posts they like or comment on...pics of hers they like and comment on but it's like they just bypass my son's pics. And his grandma just took the cake for me, giving my baby hand me downs and not coming to see him. It all just makes me sad

@babykam, I'm not one to feed into the mixed stereotype...not hating on her, she is pretty but I'm not trying to be in competition with her. Thanks for your advice

I feel you! it's bad enough that you feel like you gotta compete with her when she supposed to been gone! but, don't let them make your son feel like he gotta compete too!

Awww this post makes me mad 🙁I feel bad that they treat yo son different than his other son that's not cool at all. Ur beautiful in your own way and have a handsome son don't let them bring u down. It's their lost u have someone who will love u always no matter what(your son) 😊@beezy_mcflyy
