is it so much to ask for help getting up with our child at night? no instead he sleeps out in the living room so I have to do it all night and still get up and go to school in the morning. Idk how I'm gonna do this when our son gets here. 😢
@6215teenmom, then I don't see how it would be a problem helping out at night. Maybe you can switch off every other night comforting the baby?
@indigenousmommy, when he's not working he is very helpful. we've only ever had a problem at night. during the day he helps with her & other things too in order to make my pregnancy easier. it's just the waking up is where we have an issue.
Is he helpful other times during the day or does he expect you to completely take over caring for your babies?
@indigenousmommy, this is the second time this week.
I would be so pissed, don't let him get away with that shit.
@indigenousmommy, well last night I woke him up because I was so drained and hurting and he wouldn't get up and I said I needed help I couldn't do it myself so he got mad took care of her then went into the living room to sleep for the rest of the night.
You need sleep just as much as he does. If not more because you're pregnant.
My SO didn't get up to help with my son (not his) but I told him I'd like him to help me and he agreed to. Maybe you just need to bring it up again in a non confrontational way?
@indigenousmommy, well I understand he works but he doesn't work until 11, I have to get up at 7. not that I don't mind getting up with her but every time is ridiculous.
Lame excuse. Especially if it's not true.
@indigenousmommy, he just says I'm not the only one that does it.
That seems so unfair. Have you talked to him about it?!
Question, if a baby gets up at night and cries and does not stop should you give them Tylenol so they stop? Someone I know thinks you should do this. 🙄
Let’s chat ??
What do you ladies do to get your libido up?

Our Jane Ray finally arrived last night 9/18 at 9lbs 6 ounces! I ended up having to get a c section after 16 hours of labor because I progressed to 9.5 cm, but stayed that way for over five hours! She was just too big to fit. I was terrified to get a c section, but honestly it went so good and I'm already up and walking. ? our first night was rough, but we got through. So excited to raise this perfect little baby ?
Is it weird that I get annoyed at the thought of people helping me when baby is home? People ask me this all the time. My SO and I plan to share night shifts, etc. Am I stubborn? It's our kid so I feel like we can do it on our own👍🏼 lol.
❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
@indigenousmommy, hm. maybe
