Any advice with getting a almost 5 month old to sleep longer than 2-3 hours a night? I'm so wore out. He was doing good and would sleep 5 hour stretches, which was great, but for the last 3 weeks he gets up every 2-3 hours to eat. He eats 4 oz of formula. I've tried uping it to 5 oz and he gets sick. We have a bedtime routine bath, lotion, warm bottle, no noise and lights off. Nothing works. I've tried all the advice my doctor says, books, and this kid just does not sleep. legit I only get about 4 hours a day total. Nap when the baby sleeps doesn't work because he doesn't nap but 15 minute stretches during the day and it takes me like an hour to fall asleep after laying down.
He has been teething here lately. It is rather exhausting. Definitely ready for him to sleep at least 5 hours again. I may need to invest in a coffee maker! @arielannette
It's exhausting and we too have a routine and all that good stuff, I've just come to the conclusion that he will (hopefully) grow out of it
My son is 6 1/2 months and we have the same sleep issue...maybe teething? @decemberbaby
I put cereal in my daughters bottle before bed and she stays fuller, longer and that helps her with sleeping too.
No, he hasn't been swaddled since 2 months old. He freaks out about it now for some reason :( @mimiz
I'll give it a try so I can hopefully get some sleep. I'll have to look up sleep regression. Everything is so new to me. Thank you! @jennatess
He's probably going through sleep regression. My daughter hit it at the same age. Luckily it only lasted about two weeks for us. I was exhausted. We ended up putting her in bed with me, and my husband slept in the guest room. I hate the idea of co-sleeping, but it was the only thing that worked for us for those two weeks.
Eddison was up at 5:20.... any advice about getting him to sleep? I've tried earlier ive tried later. this was actually about an hr later we went to bed. so he got up about and hour earlier. doesn't make any sense 😭
Does anyone have any advice or been in this situation before? Long story short is I have to push my almost 3 year old in a stroller to get him to nap or sleep EVERYDAY. He doesn’t need the motion just the restraint because if not he’ll just get up and go. He never stops, he’s autistic and at this point I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve tried a weighted blanket and it helps him stay asleep but not get to sleep. Any suggestions would be amazing🙏🏼
Does anyone have any advice on how to get my son to drink from a sippy cup? I've tried several different kinds and he just doesn't get it. We've been trying since he was 6 months old. What worked for you mommies? TIA
Baby sleep
Now to get stoned and watch scary movies while eating cereal 😊😊
Well deserved 👌🏽
😂😂 yes, you should! ☕️☕️ @decemberbaby
