my bf and i have discussed this already but when our son gets old enough for solid food we are definitely not giving in ever and buying fast food for him (kids meal etc) we prefer to keep him away from McDonald's and all that junk for as long as we can. how do you mamas feel about fast food.. care? don't care? 🍟🍔🚫
@mamaash, long as you don't make a habit out of eating fast food...and live a healthy lifestyle regularly nothing wrong with indulging every now and then!! once it's constant then you have a problem! me and my family do eat fast food ever few month's...most of the time im cooking at home!!!
We were like that too but I'll admit, we give in every now and then. Obviously not every day or anything like that. I usually pack her snacks or a lunch if I know we're gonna be out long but there's times where I'll forget and give in and buy her chicken strips or something. I def do avoid McDonald's as much as possible tho. If I have to do fast food, I think Wendy's has better nuggets for them.
I was like that...I'm guilty on feeding him fries he loves them other than that he doesn't eat happy meals ..one thing I haven't gave into is candy!hes 2 years old
With some parents it's hard to do the whole healthy thing all the time. My daughter has special needs and was considered by her doctors under weight because of how naturally small she is. At one point the only thing we could get her to eat where chicken nuggets and French fries...that was the only solid food she would or could eat especially if we had to go to a doctor's appointment in Madera an hour away. It can seem like it's only for convenience but sometimes it is the better choice....we wouldn't get home till 7:30 and her bedtime is 8 even if I wanted to make something she wouldn't have enough time to eat it enjoy it and digest most of it before laying down for the night. This way she also got up to her healthy weight according to her doctors
I think in moderation is ok. but not as daily meals
My husband is ex military so working out and eating right is big to him. Plus I'd rather cook a meal for my family rather than spend an arm and a leg on fast food. @mamaash
@babynessa, haha that's cute. If you want that food you gotta work for it.. that's something my bf would do with our son I'm sure too if he wanted to eat fast food.
@luuuuuucyyy, yes exactly! I just think I would be lazy going that route and prefer for home cooked meals and have him being a healthy boy.
My husband was literally just talking about this. Said our home will be junk free and if our daughter wants a bag of chips or McDonald's he's literally going to make her do squats, push-ups, or sit ups. And do them with her.
Same page as you! I worked at McDonald's and see how bad it is & top of it how it becomes so convenient to some parents they go everyday up to three times or even more. It's so disgusting and all the money they down they can cook something super healthy & yummy as well.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
❤️Getting to know you❤️
Since our May group is growing strong and we have a lot of new mommies joining and sharing their bfp's...Thought it will be fun to get to know each other as we all share our pregnancy journey!
Make sure everyone else knows your plan too cuz I can already see my mom and sisters and their kids handing over a French fry or bite of hamburger to my little when they're watching them 😑
