My baby is 4 days old drinking 4 oz

he poops I think it just hurts his little booty lol

my daughter is a premiee and that age she was drinking 5 oz she's 4 months drinking 8oz lol

@kaidensmommie7, right I agree the hospital tells you only 2oz every 3to4 hours but I feed him when he's hungry lol so again I'd say ask Dr cause if he eats 4oz without getting sick that's good you want him to get bigger

Haha that's okay, as long as it doesn't bother him too much 😊 is it breast milk or formula? Too much formula can hurt baby's tummy and possibly make them constipated, breast milk you can't really over feed, worst case they puked it up lol

@supermommy31082, true it could be good then it could be bad but if he's hungry im not going to stop him you know but the agian maybe he's being greedy?

If the baby can handle it without throwing up and having an upset tummy, then it should be fine! Over feeding babies only leads to upset tummies and throw ups, it doesn't really hurt them

ask Dr not sure bout preemies my sons 5 days full term and he drinks almost 4oz at a time
