You'll have a lactation specialist help you I can tell you LOTS of fluid helps I drink before bed and within 3-4 hours I wake up out of dead sleep because I'm so full 😩

Just push through it & just tell yourself you can do it . My milk didn't come in fast & daughter having bottle ( formula ) in NICU . But I stuck to it & my daughter is about to be 9months exclusively BF after a couple days in NICU & is healthy couldn't tell she was premie. .. Good luck with everything !

someone at the hospital should help you but you're supposed to get as much nipple in as possible

might be difficult at first & hurt a little ,. That's what happened to me my daughter was in the NICU .. But you just have to take the baby off right away if it hurts cause it's a bad latch .. Nursing should never hurt . Start again might take a few times.. But don't give up !

I agree with @mommyoftwo35 also, it's normal if your nipples get a little sore at the beginning too. they aren't used to being tugged on

I'm not sure if it's gonna be easier for her to latch but I do know that if she isn't latched on correctly then it will hurt you.
