I got both my boys circumcised .... they just had me put a glob of Vaseline on it and a piece of gauze ... for like a week or 2 ... then got rid of the gauze and kept up the Vaseline for a little bit. super easy :)

I got my son done In Winston at the Heath plaza IT was 200 they gave him a numbing shot and put gauze around it I had to keep vasaline on it so it didn't stick to the diaper it took about a week @beenpretty1 @mamamj @mommytoaprince @nic143ole @siababy

my son was born in January, we have Blue Cross Blue Shield Federal and his was covered?

@nic143ole, @siababy thanks ladies! I'm glad they don't allow you to be in the room lol I don't want to see my little guy in pain! I'm also glad to know since it's not covered by insurance it won't cost that much. I guess it's not covered anymore because it's more like a cosmetic thing ....

@nic143ole, my sons circumsion cost me 100. that was in the hospital. If I would have waited until after to do it at a pediatric office it would have been 400. but I'm also in the state of NC. so the costs may be different.

i couldn't be in the room with my son cause they were cirumcising several babies at one time but I think it took my son a week to heal. if even that. They gave me tubes of neosporin to put on it and you put a gauze over the head of his penis after every diaper change so it won't stick to the diaper.

I have a son and I'm having another in August and I recently heard insurance no longer covers circumcision ... Now this I hope is false that would cost like 2 grand I'm sure lol

It heals in a couple days and they do not do it in the room with you lol they spray numb them and then do the procedure and your job just to keep it clean .

I'd like to know the same
