epidural itself does not hurt them numb your back, but some do have back problems down the road

I got the epidural with my son and I barely felt pressure but this time with my daughter I'm doing natural

the needle going in hurt me the most more than my labor

contractions hurt more than pushing, when they brake your water it doesn't hurt but it does speed up your contractions

I got the epidural bcuz I was in a lot of pain. When they put the epidural in my back, I cried like a little kid lol. That's how much it hurt me. Idk wat contractions feel like bcuz I was so drugged up so I can't tell u wat those feel like. When my water broke with my first, it felt like I wet the bed. An I say that bcuz my water broke at 3:30 a.m an it felt weird when it did

The epidural doesn't hurt they numb you first before inserting the needle in. You do feel pressure but for a sec and that's it. And iv hurts a little more than the epidural. Your water braking doesn't hurt just feels like your peeing. But after that your contraction will be close apart and more intense , And contractions you either feel them infront or back I felt them in my lower back and legs so it's different for anyone.

epidural didn't hurt, I had to be induced so the pitocin they gave me made my contractions out of this world. So I needed the epidural! ! pushing only hurt when she started to crown!! what I remember hurting the most was being stitched back up because I had tore

I had great luck with my epidural. It was amazing and took all of the pain away (for an hour and a half or so). And contractions hurt so much worse than pushing. Pushing felt amazing. Trying to not push was super painful but once they give you the go ahead then you are working with your body and it's such a relief when the baby comes out!

the epidural doesnt really hurt. they give you a numbing agent for it, its toughing out sitting still while they do it through contractions that sucks. it shouldnt hurt when your water breaks, it just feels weird. lol and my contractions were awful after my water was broken but i was on the highest pitocin level as well. lol

the epidural didn't hurt it just felt like pressure and the contractions hurt so much worse than the epidural and when my water broke it was a leak it didn't gush out so it felt like you were leaking regular discharge pushing didn't hurt cuz I had the epidural
