🍼💙->BIRTH STORY <-💙🍼 7/19/18 woke u with severe contractions.. went to the er & got sent home..7/20/18 Again had mayor contractions (they never went away) went back to l&d but my cervix was not making any changes.. got sent home!!! & omg my body was so tired from contracting n not sleeping (it was horrible)..same thing barely no sleep! In pain all day n night 🙅🏼 ♀ 🤦 ♀ 🤷🏼 ♀ 🙎🏼 ♀ 💆 ♀ 7/21/18 had enough went back to l&d same story no changes drink water 💦 (Blah blah blah) lol got sent home (again in tears). Around 2:00 pm contractions were excruciating..I barely could walk.. So went back to l & d @7:00pm lol 😝 Got here n I was 4 centimeters.. got admitted.. sent to delivery room..got an Iv started... apparently in this hospital you must finish iv before epidural fml.. So I started getting worst n worst pain.. when doctor 👨 ⚕ checked me again I was 6 centimeters.. and according to him (doctor) it was to late for epidural 💆 ♀ 🙅🏼 ♀ 👎🤔 Omg let me just tell y’all that’s when he broke my water n it was on!! Ladies I have never gave birth naturally with no meds n I will try my best not to do it again.. I didn’t think I was gonna survive lol (I ain’t playing) anyways after that two pushes n baby 👶🏻 Was in my arms.. sorry gals for d late birth story..upon returning from hospital I hav managed to get a uti n suffering from d most heroundous pain dwn der after getting grazed in labor n ofcourse d notorious sore nipples..lol of which all are on amends!!so grab urself a brew or watever tickles ur fancy n get reading. im warning u its in a quiet a bit detail even tho I was trying to edit it after lol...enjoy my lovelies n thanku for being der for me. love ya gals . ... bouncing bouncing bouncing..yes on my birthing ball listening to some bob marley lol..I noticed feeling rather damp dwn der...eeee...so I put on a pad n thot id check later. .ofcourse it was while 3am when I remembered d pad like u do lol cuz I got d same trickle of water..upon investigating my pad had a pinkish tinge no smell n was watery...amongst feeling lik I was having my worst period lik pain n backache I waddled to the bathroom n shaved those beasty legs lol. i prayed n supplicated n had a few moments to think wat if..i was 5 days over due my edd so mayb this was It?? wen my oh woke up I told him abt my pad..n if I remember his exact words were.."ur waters aint gone women n ur not in labor cuz u just blitz the whole house" lol..little did he know at that time they had. I called d assessment unit after speaking to some of u gals..who suggested I should come in asap. within ten minutes of getting there it was confirmed I was in v early labor..abt 2 cm dilated..I was admitted cuz I was deemed high risk due to two previous emergency c sections.put on monitor all day till 6pm where upon a group of consultants came to assess me..I was told if I dnt 'progress' id b facing a c sec n der was no other option id have to b at least 3cm. I felt so gutted that once again I was being pressured n had such lack of morale around me other than my oh. at 10pm n contractions 10 mins apart I was examimed n I was 3cm..I thot seriously ive labored all day n im only on3cm?? I cried..den d consultants returned n sed in der negative tone d same banter abt progression..but was given two hours to ensure d birth I wanted. at 10pm I litteraly ran d length of a football pitch around hospital to get this baby moving..I climbed as many stairs possible ..it was lik a marathon..d only time I stopped was to wail in pain n hold on to my oh with evy mighty blow of a contraction.. upon returning to d unit at 11pm I bounced some more..at 12 midnight I was examined id made it half way 5cm!! I was transferred on to labor ward..where my contractions took on a whole different level..good lord dey were painful. gas n air crying moaning telling my oh I couldn't do it..was d least of my expressions. I sat on d birthing ball n chair to help as recommended by one of the most fantastic midwife n person ive come across dat I was pleased to meet. .all I remember was dat d pain would kill me litteraly..at 9am d dreaded consultants arrived to give me d final blow..much to der dismay almost I had dilated fully...thanku my lord n cherisher!!! I was told to push my bub I couldn't do it laying on my back so I turned and rested my arms on d head of d bed n started to get in to d flow of contractions n pushing in to my bum?? lol it did work!! after 35 mins of pushing n d dreaded ring of fire my lil bubs head emerged..(ofcourse my oh was being the most perfect birth partner but did receive a bite to his hand n told to shut up cuz he couldn't begin to understand how much pain I was going thru lol..) apparently I was told baby was spine to spine n dats y my labor was so intense..I remember d pain in my back being unbearable n know matter hw much my oh pressed n rubbed my back it was overwhelming. .bub finally rotated himself as his head was beginning to crown (hallelujah).my precious darling n my first n only vaginal delivery was born n welcomed in to this life at 10am weighing in at 7.5lb. god bless him and all children amen. we so in love with him..I feel teary just fikn of him. its worth evy pain ladies. .for those who are still waiting to go in to labor remember itll b tough but u can do it..dont let anyone tell u no. xxx
Idk what should I do ?🙄🙁should I get my baby circumsized? Or not what's ur comments hes got appointment for tomorrow!! I just don't want my baby to hurt n be n pain
My family such a drama club they always starting n gossiping dats why I don't pass out my # or call nobody I stay to myself

I checked my cervix to see about ovulation but couldn't bloody reach that if I tried when I was pregnant😂x

It's not advised as can cause infection maybe read up a bit more or ask your midwife X

lol v true. I mean ive only gone as far as shoving a thrush pessary up my lady bits n I felt lik a wuss lol..

I think if your going to introduce a penis (sorry tmi lol) in there you could do it yourself, I would quite happily check my own cervix if I new how, I would have to read about it 1st lol everyone is different though, everyone has their own opinion xx

it's interesting topic since I know alot lasses dat hav checked cervix to track ovulation etc..jus was wondering if anyone actually done it in pregnancy..bo doubt it comes with its risk hun ur ryt..

Hmm :) I think I would personally leave it to a professional hun...as they know what they are doing. I had a sweep(my waters had already broken and they wanted to kick start labour) and was I 8cms within an hour...even the midwives were shocked I dilated that fast. You could end up delivering at home x x If anyone had complications like I did...the baby or the mother could end up in critical condition or worse x
