Get on Facebook--reads about trans using the restroom, get on preggie--reads about trans using the restroom, get on Tumblr--reads about trans using the restroom, get on Instagram--sees people posting pictures of them talking to the manager about trans using the restroom... OMFG!
@whitney, @jennatess Agree to disagree. You both have your opinions on the matter, doesn't make neither of you ignorant. Yall both can go back and forth all night, but I just won't let that happen. We all have different views on things and that's okay. So stop going back and forth and enjoy what you guys have in front of you. =)
@jennatess, Using any bathroom or fitting room that some identifies as is way different.
@jennatess, I just think that their should be just one bathroom for transgender people to use. One at a time. Not all Targets have family rooms either but what does that have to do with anything?
@whitney, my point is...were you aware that Target ALREADY has a family restroom for dads, mom's, and children? It's the people who are saying that THIS will change things when it pretty much has already been this way for years that are ignorant. People are so quick to talk Target down because now they support gender identity equality, but really, why now? Why not go crazy when they made the family bathrooms?
@jennatess, That is not the same situation. Not at all. And I do advocate for rape victims because I am one. You shouldn't just assume people are ignorant for expressing the way they feel about things. I don't ever want to be in that situation again.
@whitney, these SAME arguments were stated when they wanted to make to where black and white people could share the same drinking fountain. Years ago, water fountains were usual kept right at the entrances of bathrooms...people argued that this would cause rape and disease. You can go ahead and be cautious...that's smart! But, I feel like anyone who really is so concerned with the rape rate needs to already be focused on tying to educate and help women who have been raped.
Everyone is entitled to express their opinion. It's a hot topic and issue to some at the moment. Just like people posting about presidency and other relevant topics. @jennatess How do you know it's not going to change anything. You don't. I can worry about it because it CAN happen. I'm not ignorant I'm cautious. Because I would hate for anyone to get hurt.
People are all spouting nonsense how this is going to help the rape rate. Ugh. 1 out of 10 women are raped in their lifetime. That's way too high. Maybe people who are so worried about it now should have been worried about that previously. If someone wants to lurk, they would find a way...making bathrooms this way now isn't going to change ANYTHING. It's just proving how some people are so ignorant.
@tarateller2010, @aniyahsmommy0403 Ive learned to keep my opinion to myself, some people will only agree to disagree, so no use to keep going back and forth & have a keyboard war.
we just won't be using public restrooms anymore.
@arlogreyson, it's just a damn toilet I'm with you I'm tired of hearing it too
when you have to wait on your husband to get home to watch the baby to be able to go use the restroom 😥😭
You know what's annoying? Getting up to use the restroom and crawling back in bed to get comfy and as soon as you do you need to use the restroom again!
I use the bathroom very often but right after I use it and get relief I get thirst again then I have to use the restroom again and this cycle continues. Am I the only one?
