trying to hold off on asking for the epidural bcs they said it might wear off while pushing but this is awful

I ended up with I c section, but was in labor for 48hrs. it didn't wear off for me.. I think you will be fine.. get it if you need too 👍 @heatherxo

eventually it wears off (not completely) cause your body gets used to it.. I was told the same thing, I didn't hold out very long cause the iv pain meds did nothing.. lol.. good luck love.. @heatherxo

That seems odd- I was told they thread a catheter into the back so they can keep giving it to you through the hours so it wouldn't wear off.

girl who you telling! I am swollen from legs down too ankle and feet! they say its normal cuz you get an epidural but I'm literally swollen and its been 4 days ! 😭 since I gave birth. I'm still in pain and omg my back hurts
