Had my stretch and sweep today and gosh that was uncomfortable. Does anyone that had one before know how long the bleeding (brown/redish) carries om for afterwards x

Mine was like brown sticky mucus crap with streaks of blood and this was continuous but I had that sweep when I was up at the hospital when the MF was checking how far dilated I was @nessa230416 xx

@winterbaby95, @rach91 is it? she said I was dilalated 1cm and could touch babys head. She said that she had some bloody show on her glove when she pulled out but didnt say abouy me bleeding afterwards. Its like im nearing the end of my period x

well mine said to me at my 38 week appointment "if your still pregnant for your 40 week appointment then I'll give you a stretch and sweep" had my sweep didn't work so she booked me another at the hospital for 40+5 and that's when I lost my bloody show still didn't go into labour though.. I was induced for reduced movements and I was 8 days over when I had him. she might ask if your happy to have one on your next appointment couldn't see why not xxx

you have to be over due unless you have certain reason for one your midwife should book you in for one or give you one at your 40 week appointment @amielee93 mine stopped by the next day then after that i lost my bloody show xxx
