So I'm trying to decide if I want to have a c section or give natural birth. I'm still trying to decide if I want to get my tubes tied or not. What are y'alls opinions and experiences?
might be sketchy being younger and just 1.. even with a c section @stacydoffin if you were a tad bit older you probably wouldn't run into much hesitation.. but ask your OB
i was gonna get mine tied. ended up just got told dr wouldnt do it because of only 1 child and still being young eben tho ive lost 3 babies before this one. my husband and i had agreed to this bein the last one and even tho we both had our minds set they still refuse to do it. make sure it is a possibility first.
Im really not sure if they would do it then or not. It would be up to your doctor. A c section would make more sense if you do get them tied.
@stacydoffin, how old are you.. and yes if you request they will.. some like to wait until you're a certain age or multiple children in case you decide to change your mind
@stacydoffin they should yes, my sister had vaginal with her 3 and they tied them, it'll depends on their schedule honestly. I highly suggest you talk to your OB and ask as many questions as possible:)
If I did have a vaginal birth will they still tie my tubes when I'm in the hospital? @chinue @hermommy @rhia @nathansmommy2
@stacydoffin your OB 100% Would know if he or she would be okay with that, alpt of them want you to have atleast two, my mom tried after me and i was her first they told her no. But if they will allow you to definitely csection it would be easier
This is my first baby and someone told me if I do get them tied it would be easier to have a c section that way they can just tie them up when in there. Hubby and I have both decided one and done. If we ever did change our mind we could get them untied or just adopt. Who do I need to ask about getting them tied and if they will allow it? @chinue @hermommy
C sections are horrible I just had one and I still can barely get up out of bed because it hurts and it's been 2 weeks already!! Honestly if I was you I'd go vaginally if I could have done it I would have... 😳😳
If you have a c section the recovery time is a bit longer and your gonna need a little help the first week because of the pain
is this your first? because I'm not sure they tie tubes with only one child😳 maybe s ommething you want to look into
Who already has their baby's name picked out? And what is it? I'm still trying to decide on one..theirs one I love but I want to see if anyone else has it...I'm having a girl !
Trying to decide about going back to school is so hard. I'm not ready to leave Aubrey but I want to go so bad.
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
I Am Still Deciding If I Want To Try And Breastfeed or Bottle Feed I Might Try Both...But Does Medcaid Pay For A Breast Feeding Pump???
Ok, I have a question. I'm 22 years old, and I'm trying to decide if I want to do the integrated screening.. I wouldn't do anything differently with my pregnancy, I kinda want to know but idk. I'm kinda stuck, any advice.
Do not get a c section! I had a scheduled c section scheduled due to baby being transverse, the days I went in he flipped. I was a complete dumb ass and still decided to go with the c section instead of just delivering him vaginally, I regret it. I couldn't do shit on my own and felt like a worthless mom. The recovery time is ridiculous. I wish I would have done more research on the recovery and risks. If you tell them you want your tubes tied they have to do it they will just try talking you out of it due to it being your 1st child and your age. I would rather deal with the pain from vaginal delivery and the tubes tied than c section and tubes tied. Good luck.
