Lol, nope! The transitional stuff isn't required. Its probably a case-to-case thing where most/a lot of babies won't need it. Aarem stayed on Similac Alementium for a year and transitioned to milk and solids with no issues.

@crunchymomma, that makes complete sense. Faye is 9mo old and 30lbs. She's an eater, 😅. So, I think we will just stick with formula then and not even bother with this stuff. She's getting plenty between solids and her 8 million bottles she takes a day. Haha. Thanks pretty! I appreciate it!

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom, I mean, it's about the same. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a crucial step in the parenting thing. Haha! I may give it to her every now and then, but I'll stick with formula. Plus, I have the baby Brezza and it only works with formula formula.

kids who have trouble gaining weight, nutritional imbalances, or kids who to struggle with transitioning to solids and whole milk. like if your baby will take whole milk, but doesn't eat their food very much for some reason. then you start adding this to their diet to help off set the fact that they're refusing to eat. you don't want to put them back on infant formula, so you give them toddler formula.

I used it for my daughter because whole milk made her sick. We still use it but not as often..

Yeah, the picture is showing up now. I didn't realize they made an in-between formula. I think it's probably a waste of money. Is it more expensive than the formula Faye is on now?

you do not stop formula until st least 1 year old. that's your baby's only source of nutrition. even solid food has no nutritional benefit before 1 year old. after a year old start switching to whole milk. and when fully tansitioned to whole milk you can try this stuff. but it would be more of a supplement, not really a food source.

No picture. Aarem stayed on formula until his 1st birthday then started regular milk. Didn't need any toddler drinks.
