@nessa_475, lol it really wasn't pleasant I won't lie. But if you can take some pain it really isn't unbearable. There is a bit of bleeding after, but it shouldn't be much. I hate dilation check too lol

😩 that sounds painful. I don't even like when they check for dilation @raegenice

@nessa_475, with a lubricated glove of course, during your cervix check your doctor will put a finger in the opening of your cervix and move their finger in a circular sweeping motion to separate your amniotic sac from your cervix itself. It may or may not work within a day or two by hopefully releasing hormones (prostaglandin) and signaling your body to start labor
