if my due date is Aug 8th.. would it hurt to ask to be induced on Aug 1st-4th as long as baby and I are in the clear?

they only induce if emergency. the baby isn't growing or your after your due date

@mommyof2016, my ob told me at my 2nd appointment that she doesn't mind inducing as long as it fits the birth plan and it won't cause complications

@mommyof2016, I just know doctors are different and didn't know if anyone was induced early by request but we'll see thanks for giving me a heads up :)

They induce for other reasons @mommyof2016 but I wouldn't do it unless you haven't went into labor naturally by 41 weeks because it can be a lot more painful and you could be in labor for a while and it can lead to a c section @kasieerin

@dlove2016, that's what I figured I know babies will not come out if they're not ready lol its just a question I was thinking it would be convenient but I know if I try to rush her she'll be even more stubborn lol

Yes because honestly convenience isn't always the best way to go be patient love you'll meet your princess when the time is just right

@dlove2016, ik!! my sisters wedding is on my due date to why it made me question.. I already feel like she's comming early anyway at the most inconvenient time like a monday when I'm home alone.. lol she would too!!

right!! I live like 30-40 mins from it and my so leaves Monday mornings and is gone till Thursday I have a vehicle but that doesn't mean I should drive!!@dlove2016

exactly lol but he'll be able to come home if that happens his bosses know I'm pregnant and that I will have him for a week to myself and I think he'll even work in town for a few weeks so he can be home every night for awhile :)@dlove2016
