Are there any already mummy's that have used any thickners for milk to tackle there babies Reflux?…

I was given gaviscon for my daughter which helped but she also developed a rash so we had to look into changing milk altogether and that's actually helped with reflux too xx

I recommend trying to feed babies plant milks instead of cows milk. It has a lot of hormones and pus so it's no wonder many babies get problems from it. Not optimal food for humans.

@sleckenby, what's milk did you switch from and to? Mines on Aptamil Comfort with gaviscon but causes constipation. We switched it to reflux milk and worked, totally got rid of the reflux but causes bad diarrhea so we're back to square one again. I've been trying to tackle this from the day he was born lol xx

she's on nutramigen. Apparently it's only available on prescription tho. they think cows milk may be causing her the problems. this only contains half the amount of cows milk of regular formulas. if that didn't work they spoke about cutting it out altogether but thankfully it's worked 😀 xx

We switched from aptimil to cow and gate as aptimil made my daughter awful sick. But she was really constipated so changed her to the cow and gate comfort which worked a treat.

I've just had the gp on the phone and told him everything, finally taking it seriously and got a appointment instead of prescribing all these different things. Poor bubs, feel for any mums having to tackle reflux. It's bloody horrible and you feel helpless. Xx
