My Bestfriends due date is 2 days before mine and she keep having the feeling that she's going to die giving birth I keep tellin her that's Jst her mind way of making her scared .. There's nothin I can tell her to convince her that she's not going to die
My 6 year old and I got our nails done today. She got her first manicure and they painted Olaf on her thumb! Some people have expressed that they think she's to young to be getting a manicure. I used the manicure as a bribe to get her to stop biting her nails and if it works...I'm going to keep taking her bi weekly when I go for a fill. I remember my parents not letting me get a manicure until I was in high school. Is it really so strange for a little girl to regularly get manicures?
Madi is taking ounce after ounce I literally can not keep up. I want to give her rice cereal to keep her full😑
just came home in tears at the grocery store when an elderly lady approached me she asked my if I was pregneat I replied happily yes & she shook her head .... she started telling me I was going to be a horrible mom & my baby was going to die because I had tattoos .....
FTM problems... So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It's making me sad. Like I wish I could quit my job and be home with her.

oh no, that is terrible. just try to be supportive for her, don't dismiss her fears. that will probably go further than anything.

The hospital staff will do anything and everything to make the delivery safe for her and the baby. If they see any complications arise, they'll act accordingly to save both. That fear is a scary one to have, but it's less common nowadays unless something horrible occurs :) Just tell her not to worry, and I agree with the above comment ^

Oh no! that's one of those fears that ppl will have and you can't really help calm down. Just try to show her as much research as possible showing how rare that is and usually it's because of a preexisting issue. It probably won't help but it can't hurt either. :( I've dealt with anxiety my whole life so I know how it feels to have those completely irrational fears. it really sucks! I definitely feel for her.
