@miyah, well if it's about health of either that's most important. Keep things safe and healthy, it's what needs to happen and is Ok just keep positive thinking and what you want to accomplish. 💞
@arivera64, yeah my blood pressure won't go down so maybe it's for the best if they do decide too by then I'll be 37 weeks

If you are well past your due date, or if you/the baby are showing some sort of serious signs that they need to deliver then inducing can be good. I wouldn't induce because they guess the baby is too big or anything sooner than 41 weeks if everything is perfectly fine.
yea its better to go natural but being induced doesnt necessarily mean something is going to go wrong i was induced and everything went wonderful thank God my labor was only 3hrs
don't be! if there is a medical reason to be induced, it's probably the better bet for your situation. I have witnessed many styles of birth and I can honestly say I know my preferences can be idealistic so whatever gets baby safely into your arms
@arivera64, they are thinking about inducing me but now I'm scared lol 😩

Yes. If your body starts labor on its own, that usually means ypur body is ready.
Getting induced forces your body to do it. If your body isnt ready that may lead to needing a cesarean.
your body is going through so much less stress and in turn, your baby goes through less stress. Your body is being forced to do something it may not have been ready to do just yet. However, that is why you are monitored and there are so many different stages of induction. I think the key is to educate yourself on the induction options and talk with your doctor about your goals.
