I'd let her go until she let's you know she's hungry. that's what I do. I'm not gonna force her to eat if she doesn't want to

maybe that's what I should do.... that's what I used to do, but the last couple times she was at the Dr she was in the 14th and 18th percentile for weight and I worry lol altho her doctor doesn't seem worried @arijane316

my son was doing every 4 hours until we introduced foods then he started going longer. remember the foods are going to fill them up which will make them nurse longer apart

i still offer the boob after every feeding but he doesn't nurse as long anymore. if you get worried you could always talk to his doctor.

going on three years nursing around 6 months my son went through a phase where he barely are anything at all and his pedi said it was normal. she also told me that "food before 1 is just for fun and nursing will give them all the nutrition they need"

I honestly don't even know how often she nurses now. Every couple hours maybe? She's 7 months old now and I just stick her on the boob whenever she wants it.
