I wish I didn't start using the nipple shield now she won't nurse without it 😩😩 would that decrease…

Have you tried taking it off real quick in the middle of a feeding and keep going and try to get her to latch? that worked after a few tries with my daughter 😁 Sometimes its awful, but don't give up! In sure baby will get it!

Also it didn't decrease production for me, and she figured it out around 3 weeks with me trying to get her to latch almost every feeding.

Yes and she noticed each time 😩 I tried to get her to latch after I got some milk out still didn't work lol she latched one time without it today and it didn't last long. As long as it won't decrease milk product I may just continue to use it @tahtahme

@mookie1, just keep trying without the shield and she'll learn to nurse without it. My LO wouldn't nurse withouth the shield but i kept persisting and we finally got it down around 3 weeks pp been going strong for almost a week now!

It hadn't decreased mine at all

She did it today but she was real tired and when I switched it lol I'll keep trying it @kindtrahan

@xoamac, okay thank you I think it's cause she's going through a growth spurt and cluster eating it seems like I'm not producing nothing

a little latch every day is good! in a few weeks I bet she will latch every time! it will be easier! also my boobs feel like empty sacks when they cluster feed, I know just what you mean!
