So can I rant for a little bit? I am on bed rest since 9 weeks (14 now) I
my daughter is extremely clingy to me. if we are in the same room, she has to have my attention. of course I don't mind that at all. but what irritates me is my husband doesn't help me out. yesterday I went to make me something quick for dinner because I was hurting. not a single clean dish in the house. dishes piled up by his side of the couch, our laundry needs folded and put away but I can't get my butt in the floor to fold it I get so uncomfortable. I take care of our daughter all day every day. her night time ritual is supposed to be his time with her every night. all he does is play his Xbox and honestly I'm about ready to smash the damn thing to bits. last night I finally snapped on him...I went to bed without even eating since 4 (it was 11 when I went to bed) because hurting And in tears as I was, I done all the dishes, finished the laundry, all while he sat there sulking because I was upset. didn't bother helping. as pissed as I was not that I would have let him anyways...I mean, and I am not gonna lie yeah my house was messy but never to the point it's considered unfit. but my mother who is an OCD clean freak is threatening DHR because I am ashamed to let her in our house. she tries so hard. am I wrong for being upset with him? he doesn't help with our daughter anymore not for the past couple weeks, never helps with the house unless I get upset. I just don't know what to do anymore. he puts things off until the last minute and then forgets about it.

Try this.. Me and my husband set this up. I take care of the dog while he is at work. Aswell as the house. I dont mind doing the laundry IF he puts his clothes in the hamper. I dont mind serving food IF he will help carry the dishes to the sink. he takes the dog off my hands when he is home as well. As the house wife I do the house work, but only if things are where they should be if you get what I mean. His laundry gets done if he puts it where it needs to go, his dishes get done if they are put where they need to go, his clothes get put away if he carries the hamper upstairs for me cause I am 36 weeks.

my thing is standing so long or having to sit in the floor to do laundry. I had a c section less than 6 months ago so I feel everything more intensely this go around. bending dang near kills me. I'm not even suppose to be doing laundry and stuff anyway. I was literally told to sit on my butt this pregnancy. even if I ask him to help he waits to do everything until I get too pissed off and tired of waiting on him to do it that I do it myself. all he does when he's home is play his Xbox now. or stay on his phone or tablet. @gingermama

Do what I did. Pretty much tell him if he isn't going to help you out and at least clean up after himself he needs to find somewhere else to live that he can make his pig sty

I took power cords and controllers away. If my kids don't help and do what they are supposed to they get grounded. I have no issue "grounding" my husband. We have 3 kids,3 animals and I'm 16 weeks pregnant. The days I feel awesome I get up and go non stop cleaning everything. But there are more days that I have migraines and I can't even lift my head up to go to the bathroom much less anything else.
