In almost 4 months I've used 325 Lansinoh breast milk storage bags with 5-6 oz in each bag (1625-1950 ozs) and exclusively breastfed my son. I've bought a deep freezer just for breast milk and now it's filled to the top. This has definitely gotten out of hand. What happens if I don't pump and just feed? We are leaving for vacation in the am and my pump is going with me but this has consumed my life. I've also donated to the NICU and next resort is to sell which Ethan's dad thinks it's good for business. @oshia5starlady, makes sense but I feel like a breast pumping junkie. A while ago I said I'm not pumping and shit hurts and he's asleep so have no choice, sigh. It's crazy. Thanks for advice.

start eliminating 1 pump session a day. so cut out 1 pump session, and when you get engorged in expectation of that pump, just hand express for relief. once your milk regulated so you don't need that pump, eliminate another pump session and hand express a little for relief. you don't want to quite pumping cold turkey, especially with that much of an over supply or you'll get clogged ducts and mastitis.

just use your hand to squeeze out enough milk that you're not engorged. don't squeeze it all out, just enough that you're not hurting anymore

Wow I admire you that's a lot of milk !!! You are blessed. I hope this time around I'm able to have at least half that amount of milk.

when you actually do it, it's not bad. when I'm engorged all I have to do is put pressure on my breast and milk squirts out lol. if it's hurting you to do it you may be doing it wrong. all it it is gently massaging your breast and pushing towards your nipple till it comes out. and you just do that until your breast is soft again

@nurseriri, I went to my ob afterwards I had to go to the Dr . Because my bp was high now I am on high blood meds I have like 50 bags left can you donate to me I will pay for the shipping and handle for the milk please 😢
