When I first found out I was pregnant, my first thought was "oh shit". I was distraught. I wish it wasn't that but we weren't planning on having kids for a number of years. But also never in my life would I even consider an abortion. Even just typing that word out hurts my heart. I also truly thought I wouldn't be able to have any kids because of my surgery I had a few years back. Tonight I was thinking of this and how different I think of this pregnancy now. It's truly a blessing, sure I'm nervous about it all still and quite honestly have no idea what I'm doing. But we're emotionally and financially stable to do this. God always has a plan. I never thought I'd be able to understand the love a mother has for their child, but I'm starting to cause I love him/her already.

I know exactly how that goes! I'm also really young (19 in May) and I was terrified that people would be disappointed in me and judge me for it and I just reacted like it was all a terrible horror story. But then being faced with all the lovely support of my mother and my fiancée I started realizing that everything is fine, this baby has come to us to bring us to the next chapter of our lives and it truly is a beautiful blessing and growth experience! We often don't realise that we got exactly what we asked for because it comes in forms that we wouldn't expect :)
