What is this?? I've had 5 contractions each 10 minutes apart and lasted about a minute and then…

I was going through the same thing almost. My contractions were 10 minutes apart for 4 hours!! But never got closer together and then.... They stopped! :( still have little backaches and belly aches but nothing serious and no more contractions. This is just our bodies preparing. It could be hours, days, or weeks still. Hang in there! You should call your doctor only if your water breaks or they are 5 minutes or less! @cheylea5

like @mjsaunders said they probably want you to wait to come in til they're consistent and 5 min or less apart, but calling does no harm and may ease your mind and help you get through the waiting period til they happen again! also they can look at your medical record and if there's any prior red flags they'll tell you if you should come in anyway to get checked out.

It's Braxton hicks. If you were in active labor, they would still be consistent and getting stronger and closer together. This happened to me a few nights ago. About 10 minutes apart, for like 4 hours but then just stopped. Still no baby lol
