I think my water may have broken some but no contractions...

I didn't actually feel contractions until after I'd been on the meds and got to 4 cm then they kicked my ass so I got the epidural and started dilating pretty quick after that lol

I was 38 weeks too. My water broke at 5 am but I thought it was pee so didn't realize until about 10. Got to the hospital at 11 am but still wasn't dilating by 2 or 3 so had to get meds, had baby around 11:30 that night

@london1010, how long before you went to the hospital or before baby was born? I'm right at 38 wks

I couldn't feel my contractions when my water broke because I wasn't dilating
