when you call to make appt, ask them if they are right office for you (you have to give them your address and they will check) bc when I scheduled my 1st appt I was calling Office located only 2 miles away from me, no one ask me for my address, so when I go for my appt (after waiting over 1h) they checked my address and told me that my street is not their district and I have to make new appt with different office (10 miles away from my place), so before you make your appt make sure you're making it to right place ;) I waisted 5 weeks :( (2 waiting for 1st appt to wrong place and then 3 for 2nd one) but that was 7y ago, my friend scheduled appt for next day when she called last month, I guess they are more organized now ;)

@chelsc88 Exactly haha I just went down there last week and don't go.back till July. but they asked me if I was pregnant and proof of pregnancy

@macalula21, I thought so too! I had to go back every 2-3 months to update it. But it seems anyone could go in and say they were and not be

i had to call the appointment line to.make one

I just went to the health department, and they just needed some of my pay stubs from work. oddly enough I didn't have to show proof of pregnancy and they didn't test me.

You can always go to them because waiting on them will be hell

I went to the local health department and they gave me a number to call. I made my first appointment over the phone.

I think if it's your first appointment you have to call yo schedule the appointment cause I know you have to bring proof of pregnancy, check stubs etc
