"When my son was 3 days old he slept in a dresser drawer. Don't worry, we didn't shut the drawer, we removed it and used it as a bassinet. The in laws didn't have a crib and we forgot the port-a-sleep. I also packed my son in a clothes basket and set him on top of the clothes dryer when he had colic. A few minutes after I turned on the dryer, he stopped crying. Then I stopped crying. We BOTH slept. Good times."

LOL my mom did all of that when I was a baby. She didn't have a crib at my Nana's, so I slept in a drawer 😂 like great, that sounds safe... I think she said they just pulled the drawer out some... didn't even take the whole drawer out 😦 LOL

my mom was so premie she slept in a shoe box. she was so tiny my pawpaw could hold her in one hand. back then it was a miracle she lived being so small. my grandmother was an alcoholic and druggie apparently. my mom would leave me in my car seat and put me on top of the washer or dryer because of my colic. what ever works lol.
