I've read that hard soles usually aren't used until baby is walking on their own. Even still most kids don't wear hard bottoms until they're past 3 because the bones are still developing. Barefoot, socks, and soft soles are best for a while. Those might be heavy on her ankles

my daughter has dem same shoes and i think i let my daughter wear hard bottom shoes when she was 4 months and now she is one.
