Moms I need ideas and suggestions I'm 40 weeks and 4 days and don't want to be induced next week…

Try sex, nipple stimulation, walking, bouncing on a yoga ball, they do have some yoga exercises. Ummm lots of stuff.

I'm in the exact same boat! I was due in the 18th and they are going to induce me Sunday night if I don't go into labor before then. I've tried everything!!!!

Ugh it's so frustrating cause I get contractions but they aren't consistent and i couldn't get a membrane sweep on Tuesday because I was barely a cm dialated. I get induced Wednesday if he doesn't come before then

@gatormadaleno, my obgyn office said they dont do membrane sweeps because of risk of infection I was so pissed. I'm not dilated at all either!!! I really don't want to be induced.

That's the way my obgyn is too but I begged for it so I'm getting it Wednesday morning and hopefully will go into labor before I get induced that same day at 8pm. Is it your first baby? It's my first and everyone says that's why but all my friends if they went overdue they were already pretty dialated. @stephsmith212

@gatormadaleno, I would definitely try sex but its his seman that's really going to help you out then after sex I would walk , do squats basically be as active as you can go walking around a store , im unfortunately 3cm and 50% at 26 weeks due to that and having a short cervix but I had no choice but to be active I have a toddler . OH and walking up and down stairs works wonders
