Why gave the formula? she might just be nursing for comfort. you can't overdo it on breastmilk. it could just be a growth spurt.

She was getting frustrated with nothing coming out but was still acting hungry. My supply has been very low the last couple days.

ah well if you're trying to raise it, keep the formula at a minimum! letting her nurse that long is good for production!

No shame in supplementing if your baby isn't full with breast milk. Once she empties both of my breasts and still is hungry I supplement with formula as well and that's that my daughters pediatrician told us to because my daughter doesn't always get full and I give her a 2oz bottle of formula for one of her feedings at night. People say breast is best but honestly it's what's best for YOU and what works for YOU. not anyone else.
