I still sleep on my back sometimes, when it's comfy.. which is rarely. But baby does get better blood flow when laying on your left side. I sleep on either side or back depending on which feels comfortable at the time. You aren't really prohibited from sleeping in any position. Some ladies sleep on their stomach well into halfway through their pregnancy.. its really up to you.
you can sleep on your stomach too, they always say "baby will let you know when they don't like it" 27 weeks and still sleep on mine but kinda on my side if that makes sense lol
whenever you aren't comfortable on it. I was still fine with it up until like week 29 or 30. I got really short of breath and knew I couldn't lay that way anymore

That's up to your OB honestly, I know mine told me it didn't matter just to put a pillow under one side so I'm not laying flat
