I know this sounds really daft but I feel so insecure about having to get my legs and arms out when I'm giving birth

I know it'll be the last thing on my mind at the time but I have major self confidence issues and it's giving me anxiety thinking about it!!

I've been with my other half for almost 4 years now and I still don't get undressed in front of him. Nothing to do with him, I don't even change in front of my best mates or even my mother!!!

has anyone felt like this?

I'm always covered up :) long sleeved tops and leggings even in summer. I was really adament about not wanting the midwives anywhere down there...not even my boyfriend had seen down there lol....but the midwives had to check down there..and look to see if the baby was crowning or whatever :) Turns out her head was not positioned correctly so it needed to be turned and I needed a forcep delivery...A male doctor delivered my daughter...he sewed me up and everything...he saw everything...At the time..I couldn't care less haha...but after a few days...it sunk it what had happened and I felt so embarressed lol! Especially as I saw him again 😂 But remember...Midwives and Doctors are health professionals....they've seen it all... So they don't make you feel uncomfortable at all... I was certain I was pooing while I was pushing...I'm sure I did...and I kept asking them if I was...and they said no...I probably had...but they said to me...it was a common thing to happen. Oh and I pooed while in recovery because of the medication I was given in theatre...I couldn't control it...walk or go to the toilet because I was still kinda numb and had a catheter in....they had to wash and clean my bum...totally embarressing...but yet again..they said it was common to happen..but they thought it wouldn't happen to me as it didn't happen within 2 hours after birth( as it normally does)...it took about 12 hours to happen xx

I am the same, I'm always covered up, won't even leave the house if the tops of my arms aren't covered but trust me, it definitely does all go out the window when you are in labour. I honestly couldn't care during that time, my waters broke when I was sat on the hospital bed and the midwife just ragged my pants and trousers off lol and my mum gave me a shower afterwards. It will be OK xxx

Definitely understand where your coming from, I hate my arms, I always wear cardigans or long sleeve tops. But my mam reckons all that worry goes out the window during labour and birth, so im not stressing xx
