Can I request a scan from my midwife? 😕 #confused

Just ring them and say you're extremely worried, you know your baby and you feel something isn't right, don't bother about pestering them, mommas know best xxxx

I just dunno what I can do anymore! I've had reduced movements a few times but nothing gets done that's why I want to request a scan xx @darciepenny

That's ridiculous Id go mad, I got monitored at 24 weeks xxx

I've text my midwife, I've had reduced movements a few times and rung up and they've all said the same its starting to get on my nerves now! They can't monitor me until 26 weeks so they just act like they aren't bothered xx @darciepenny

Ring them back and demand to be seen, mommas instincts are always right xxx

They didn't even seem bothered...just said if her movements don't pick up ring my midwife xx @darciepenny

They should examine you straight away if you have any change in movements!xx

I rang the day before yesterday and they said see if her movements pick up if not ring my midwife xx @firsttimemummy21

I would contact the maternity ward and say you've had reduced movement and ask if they'll do a scan but they'll probably just listen for heart beat and feel ect xx

I'm just kind of worried about things because she seemed to be in a routine of kicking on a morning and night but I haven't felt her that consistent for a few days xx @firsttimemummy21

Do you want an extra scan? if so I think you need to ring the hospital and give a good reason why you want one xx
